Mindy Bartnicki is our owner and started POG Financial in 2019. She specializes in life insurance, helping clients recognize the importance of planning for unforeseen events before they happen. “I’ve witnessed it firsthand,” Mindy says. “My father passed away from cancer, and my family wasn’t prepared. From that moment, I promised that I’d educate as many families as I could so that they wouldn’t have to go through what mine did.”
Having spent most of her life in Ohio with extensive experience in the restaurant business, Mindy faced a turning point after her father’s passing. She transformed this personal adversity into a new opportunity, leaving the restaurant industry to dedicate herself to helping families plan, secure their legacies, and protect them during the oh no moments. “When my dad passed away, I realized I had no plan for myself and my girls if something happened to me. I began educating myself on how to prepare for the future and realized through my research that I could get licensed to write my own family’s policies.
I then created this business to focus on educating others and helping them stay on track to retire with confidence, helping to ensure they won’t burden their loved ones during unexpected challenges. It’s not a matter of if that moment will happen, but when. I want to help minimize any additional stress for your family.”
With a degree in business management, Mindy holds licenses in life, health, and annuities and is authorized to operate in Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Michigan, Florida, Nevada, California, Arizona, Georgia, Kentucky, and Indiana. Whether she’s assisting clients, training agents or overseeing our firm, Mindy abides by the golden rule: treat people the way you want to be treated. She approaches every situation with a listening ear. “The best way to understand a person is through listening. I don’t understand how an advisor could create the right financial plan for someone without listening to their story, understanding their goals, and selecting a product that addresses their needs.”
She is committed to providing a complete view of your future by offering a thorough understanding of your retirement. This includes maximizing benefits through your employer, savings, and all other retirement accounts. She also has two daughters and is a self-proclaimed “cat mom.” Though her schedule always seems packed, she enjoys spending time with her daughters, traveling, working out, and watching football.
